About Me

Welcome Pass Trail

Whatcom County is my home. I was born here and graduated from Western Washington University with degrees in Community Health and Spanish. After working in health care and education for a decade, I earned a Master of Public Health from the University of Washington.

While I’ve called Whatcom County home for most of my life, I’ve also lived and traveled internationally, which has deepened my commitment to community health improvement.

I live in Bellingham with my husband and daughter. Beyond my work in collaborative community health improvement, I have a passion for growing, foraging, and arranging plants and flowers. To me, plants are a lot like human relationships. They require tending. They are beautiful and imperfect. And when combined with creativity, the results can be unexpected and stunning.
