Process Design and Facilitation

A good process answers the question, “How do we get from here to there?” It includes clarifying the desired outcomes, identifying the "right" people to involve, and discerning areas of shared interest and/or potential conflict.

·       Organizational or group mission, values, guiding principles

·       Strategic planning, action planning

·    Partnership development and coalition building

Effective facilitation (which literally means “to make easier”) allows groups to talk openly, generate ideas, understand perspectives and data, solve problems, and develop shared goals.

My facilitation practice draws on community organizing, collaborative leadership, organizational development, adult learning theory, conflict resolution, and a variety of decision-making models.
